Meet Our Staff

Miss DodieHi! My name is Miss Dodie and I am the owner and Administrator of the Little Folks School House. I was born and raised in New Hampshire and moved to Wisconsin in 1991. My husband and I have three adult children. I have been in the early childhood field for thirty-three years. I received my education through the University of New Hampshire, Fox Valley Technical College, and Moraine Park Technical College. I received my Administrator's Credential through UW – Milwaukee. It is my goal to establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with my staff and center families.

Hi, my name is Miss Jennifer. I am the Director here at Little Folks. I started at Little Folks in 2000. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Marian University and an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a Credential in Child Care Administration from Moraine Park Technical College.  I live in West Bend with my husband, Dustin.  We have two children, Addison is seven and Beckett is four.  I also teach early childhood courses at Moraine Park Technical College when I'm not at Little Folks.

Miss NickiHello, my name is Miss Nicki. I am one of the lead teachers in the Ladybug Room. I took my early childhood education courses from Moraine Park Technical College and UW-Oshkosh.  I have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have been working at Little Folks since August of 1997. In my spare time I like to go shopping, cook/bake, read, and play with my wonderful dog, Bailey. I love working at Little Folks and seeing your toddler develop and grow into a big two-year-old!

Miss AngieMy name is Miss Angie and I am currently a lead teacher at Little Folks in the Turtle Room. I have been with Little Folks since 2004. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2005 from UW-Green Bay. I have two sons, Jacob and Benjamin.  I thoroughly enjoy watching these little ones learn and reach new milestones!

Miss LisaHello, my name is Miss Lisa and I am a lead teacher in the Ladybug Room.  I received my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2014 from Moraine Park Technical College.  I started working for Little Folks in 2010.  I live in Kewaskum with my husband, Mark.  In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking, exploring Wisconsin through road trips, and taking trips to visit my grandchildren.

Miss Billie

Hi, my name is Miss Billie. I work as a lead teacher in the Bumblebee Room.  I have been with Little Folks since 2002. I took my Early Childhood Classes at Moraine Park Technical College and am currently working towards graduating with the Preschool Credential. I have a beautiful daughter, Kailee. I enjoy going to Brewer games and spending time with my family.

 

Miss ChristiHi! My name is Miss Christi. I am a substitute teacher.  I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with a Bachelors Degree. I have been working at Little Folks since June of 2007. I enjoy working with children; they are a joy to teach and to be around, each child puts a smile on my face!  My husband and I have a son, Samuel, and a daughter, Scarlett.

Miss TammyHi, my name is Miss Tammy. I joined Little Folks in December of 2010. I am certified in infant/toddler and am a lead teacher. I have been working as a lead teacher in the Turtle Room since February of 2011. I enjoy working with children and all the smiles they bring throughout the day.

Miss DanielleHello! My name is Miss Danielle. I have worked at Little Folks since the fall of 2011 and I love it!  I work in the Bunny Room as one of the lead teachers.  I have a seven-year-old son, Michael, and a two-year-old, Colton, who keep me busy.  I also have a dog, Flash.  I love working with children and watching them grow.  I look forward to working with and teaching your child.

Miss Bridgette
Hi, my name is Miss Bridgette.  I started with Little Folks in 2011 with the school-to-work program through Kewaskum High School.  After graduating high school I enrolled at Moraine Park Technical College where I graduated with an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2015.  I float between the Giraffe and Ladybug classrooms here at the center as well as work as the Assistant Director at the before and after school programs at the Kewaskum Elementary School.

Hello!  My name is Miss Karyssa and I work in the Giraffe Room.  I have been a part of the Little Folks family since March of 2013.  I graduated with my Associates Degree from Moraine Park Technical College in Early Childhood Education in May of 2015.  I like to spend time outside and with my husband, Mike, and Bently, our dog.  I look forward to working with your and your child!

 

Hi! I'm Miss Abby! I started at Little Folks in October of 2016.  You will find me most mornings working in  Giraffe Room before school.  I currently go to school at the University of Wisconsin - Washington County. I am working on my Associates Degree. In my free time I love to babysit or hang out with my best friend, Hannah. Someday I hope to work as a correctional officer and then start a family of my own.

Hello!  My name is Miss Andrea and I am a lead teacher in the Bunny Room.  I started at Little Folks in September of 2013.  I have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Moraine Park Technical College.  My husband, Todd, and I live in Campbellsport with our sons, TJ and Jasett, and our two dogs.  I love to read, go camping in the summer, and spend time with my fam.

Hi!  My name is Miss Ann and I joined Little Folks in September of 2014.  I graduated from Cardinal Stritch University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.  I work as a lead teacher two days a week in the Bunny Room.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and four children.  I also enjoy gardening, running and playing soccer.

Hi!  I'm Miss Katie.  I am a student at Moraine Park Technical College where I am earning my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.  I work two days per week in the Turtle Room.  I also work a couple of afternoons at the after school program.  I am excited to meet and get to know you and your children!

Hi!  I'm Miss Mckenzie and I joined the Little Folks family in March of 2016.  I am studying at Moraine Park Technical College and will be graduating with my degree in Early Childhood Education this year.  In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities.  I like to go snowmobiling, swimming, horseback riding, playing sports and spending a lot of time with my very large family!

Hi, I’m Miss Jackie.  I have been with Little Folks School House since November of 2013.  In my free time I love to spend time with my fiance, family and friends.  I am a huge sports fan and love the Badgers, Packers, Brewers, and auto racing (especially dirt racing).  I am a lead teacher in the Giraffe Room.  I look forward to getting to know your family!

My name is Miss Heather and I am the cook here at Little Folks.  I first came to know Little Folks when my son, Noah, started here as a toddler.  When the cook position opened up in July of 2014 I jumped at the chance to work here.  I love to see the children in all the classrooms when I deliver breakfast, snack, and lunch.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially my five-year-old son.  I look forward to meeting you.  Stop by the kitchen window and say hello!

Hello, my name is Miss Elizabeth. I completed some courses in Early Childhood Education at Moraine Park Technical College, and started at Little Folks in August of 2015. I am a Lead Teacher at the before school program at KES. I also work as a Special Education Paraprofessional at KHS. My husband Brandyn and I enjoy going to the movies and spending time with family and friends.  We have a newborn son, Rhett.

Hi!  I'm Miss Hannah.  I am a junior at West Bend High School.  I work at Little Folks after school cleaning the building and doing the dishes and laundry.  I also help out at the after school care program.

Hi!  I’m Miss Lizzy.  I am a freshman in college at Wisconsin Lutheran.  I have been working at Little Folks since 2015 with the school-age program.  I enjoy playing soccer and singing.  I love spending time with my friends and family.  I look forward to having fun with your children!
